FAQ

How do I commission an artwork?

Use the contact button or ︎ art@wakasi.com with the following information:
    • Project Idea
    • Size or potential wall space for artwork
    • Colors
    • Budget

By no means do you need to have a full vision with the above notes, but projects will be chosen based on availability and impact.

How much? Price range?

Artwork is priced based on project requirements with most common factors including size, detail of design, and materials/colors. Please contact for a more accurate quote.

How Heavy?

The wall art is made of MDF plywood and, if larger than 20x30 inches, supported with 1x1 wooden studs. With these materials and two coats of epoxy resin, the artwork weight can range from 7 to 30 pounds!

(Note: All pieces are ready to hang and come with instructions for hanging heavier pieces)

What materials do you use?

While I frequently experiment with new materials and techniques the most common materials used in my artwork include:
  • Professional-Grade Acrylic Paint
  • Professional-Grade Spray Paint
  • UV Resistant Epoxy Resin
  • Diamond Dust
  • MDF Plywood
  • Archival Matte, Gloss or Satin Finish
  • Hanging Hardware/Wire

How long does it last?

With the use of high-pigment paint and two coats of UV Resistant, these paintings are made to last a lifetime and hopefully beyond!

Does it come ready to hang?

Yes! All Art comes with hanging hooks for you to place on you wall and the artwork can be hung immediately as most use a wire or two D-Rings to mount on the wall.

Ship Internationally?

Yes, it may incur a more expensive shipping rate, but we will find the best way to safely deliver your artwork! Artwork is produced in fabrication studio in San Diego, California.

How long does it take to make?

The fabrication process usually takes about 1 month, but depending on size and detail, can take anywhere from 1-3 months.

Are you Kelly Wakasa’s brother?
